SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 – Art Soiree, one of the founding members of the official Nuit Blanche DC edition, and North Capitol Main Street bring the Nuit Blanche experience to the North Capitol neighborhood as part of the citywide Art All Night: Nuit Blanche DC festival presented by DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities.

Washington, DC – From the team that put The Wonderbread Factory on the cultural map, comes a new neighborhood experience: North Capitol Main Street – as part of the citywide Art All Night: Nuit Blanche DC  Live Performances, Graffiti Art, Video Screenings, Whimsical Creations, Live Painting, Bodyart and Light happenings transform three massive outdoor spaces into the ultimate mash-up of cultural and urban arts experience. Presenting over six hours of curated program featuring works by over 50 international and local artists of different disciplines, this incredible event will highlight the unique history and cultural diversity of the North Capitol neighborhood!

At the North Capitol, guests will explore different installations in each themed lot:

MAIN LOT | 15 Florida NW –Five Bands, DJ, Live Mural Graffiti, Visual Arts, Live Painting, Dance Performances, Fire Hula Dancing

GREEN LOT | 10 Q Street NW – Silent Disco, DJ, Video Art Installations

FAIRY GARDEN | 1518 North Capitol  – Live Mural Graffiti, DJ, Creative Costumes, Live Art Bodypainting

Art All Night: Nuit Blanche DC is an all-night exploration and celebration of contemporary art, encompassing five of DC’s most vibrant neighborhoods. North Capitol is one of the five neighborhoods included in the Art All Night: Nuit Blanche DC festival, presented by DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities in association with North Capitol, Congress Heights, Dupont, H Street NE and Shaw Main Streets.

Art Soiree is one of the founding members of the official Nuit Blanche DC edition known as Art All Night: Nuit Blanche DC. In 2011 and 2013 Art Soiree and its culture partners programmed the historic Wonder Bread Factory as part of the Art All Night DC festivities, gathering over 7,000 guests and 11,000 guests in each respective year.
